Car Cruises
Car Cruising is a great way to enjoy driving and appreciate what WA has to offer. Our awesome roads set a great stage for car lovers to get out there and enjoy driving their pride and joy. It is an opportunity for novice drivers to experience country driving in a controlled environment.
As part of promoting safe driving, I am happy to run a few cruises per year. Driving in a group promotes friendship. Sharing a common interest and networking (car service, detailing, parts, ideas on mods, etc.) is always encouraged.
There is no cost in joining our group. I encourage anyone to join us as long as you are willing to abide by the rules.
All care is taken on these drives. I only promote Day Cruises. There is always a Lead (In front) and Sweeper (rear) Vehicle to ensure all drivers are safe and accounted for. Briefings are held before the cruise commences. Maps/directions are supplied at that point.
The following are Notes pertaining to the Cruise. All attending are required to follow them. All references below are to the driver of the vehicle.
1. You are obliged to adhere to all traffic laws.
2. You are responsible for having the appropriate level of insurance cover for your vehicle.
3. You are responsible to ensure your vehicle is mechanically sound and has sufficient fuel for the journey.
4. Remember the car in front and behind. Watch out for your fellow cruisers.
5. We drive in convoy. Overtaking is not allowed. THIS IS NOT A RACE. There is no benefit for getting there early.
6. Don't tailgate/follow too close. Keep a safe distance from the car in front.
7. Whilst all care is taken, the organisers bear no responsibility for any incidents, accidents, mishaps or damage occurred to vehicles, property or persons during this cruise.
8. AT ALL TIMES, DRIVE TO THE CONDITIONS.
